Cyclones. Tornadoes. Earthquakes.

A year ago, it all happened.
Within a span of a week,
the Sichuan earthquake killed thousands.
Cyclone Nargis wiped out Myanmar.
The tornadoes in the US wrecked hundreds of homes.

Families ruined. Children trapped. Hopes crushed.
People feared for their lives,
worrying where their next meal would come from.

How was it possible,
that with a shake of the earth,
with a blow of the wind,
everything got ruined.

With my teevee turned on,
I watch the commemoration of the Sichuan earthquake
and realised just how precious life is.
A year has passed and another thing has come to try and take the world by storm.
Swine Flu.
and I wonder once again, how terrible is it going to be this time round.

This is a song written and sang by Chinese Pop singer David Tao.

It was a song that he wrote and sang with 9/11 happened years ago.
But up till today, it's still so true.

For those who don't understand Chinese,
in this song, he sings a prayer to the world.

A world where people are seeking hope.
Looking for love again.
Needing God.

I love this. Makes me think all the time. Chinese song I know!
Cheryl and Chinese don't match. haha! But it made sense to me.
Hope it did to you too. :)
Spread Love today.
